Heavy Duty Throat Plate HD2124 is needed for the thread sizes over Tex 270 being used with the 2200G Series machines. This throat Plate is thicker and has a larger needle hole for the larger chain thread to pull through easier and not snag and cause drag like the throat plate that came on the machine when purchased as a new machine.
